Location:  Spencer, IA

Job Specifics:

Greet patients, family members, and visitors by phone or in person, answer questions, direct to appropriate source. Provide financial counseling to patients including checking on insurance benefits, collecting and recording payments. Function as integral part of department team performing duties to assist in the efficient flow of patient care, documentation, department schedule to best meet the needs of patients. Transcribe dictation and data entry as assigned. Schedule appointments for the department.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;

• Prior medical office experience (preferred);

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel);

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Bi-lingual (a plus).
