Sanctuary Apartments

This transitional living program is designed to offer a safe living environment for women and/or women with children who have completed a primary addiction treatment program. The Sanctuary Apartments have 24 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments for women and women with children. These apartments were built in 2007, and offer structured, safe and stable low-cost housing for women as they continue in their recovery and reunite as a family.

Enriched services at the Sanctuary Apartments include:

• Individual, group, and family therapy and psychiatric services
  
• Full-time therapist and case manager to monitor the participant's progress
  
• Skill development including independent living skills, education and employment skills, parenting, anger management, budgeting and other individual skills
  
• Recovery groups including on-site weekly 12-Step meetings
  
• On-site licensed childcare with it's own playground area separate from the playgrounds available for residents
  
• Medical care available on site through the Community Health Center and Prairie Pediatrics.

Jackson is proud to announce that the Sanctuary Daycare has been licensed by the Department of Human Services. This allows residents to gain employment and financial independence while her child is in a structured, safe environment.
