Charitable Gift Annuities

A charitable gift annuity (CGA) is a contractual agreement between you and Jackson Recovery Centers.  You make an irrevocable gift of cash, publicly traded securities or real estate to Jackson.  In exchange, Jackson agrees to pay you a fixed quarterly amount for the remainder of your lifetime.

The minimum age for a donor to contribute to a CGA is 55, or 45 to a deferred CGS with payments starting at no earlier than 55.  A suggested minimum amount to establish a CGA at Jackson Recovery Centers is $25,000.

A CGA provides an immediate income tax charitable deduction to you in the year the gift or property is transferred to Jackson Recovery Centers.  In the case of larger gifts, part of the deduction may be deferred until some future start date.
