Clinical Supervisor - Adult Outpatient


Reports to: Program Manager

Successful incumbents will have experience supervising the organization and delivery of clinical services within the program area.  Ensure the delivery of quality services, positive outcomes and customer satisfaction. Implement systems of accountability  to monitor program utilization and staff resources.  Continuously monitor and refine the clinical program offerings to better serve patients.

Job Specifics:

  • Masters Degree in clinical area & Independent license or in the process of obtaining license, OR Bachelors Degree in Human Services and current enrollment in a Masters Clinical program with licensure eligibility.
  • Experience in the Substance Abuse field.
  • Supervisory experience
  • CADC and/or Licensed in the State of Iowa.

Dietary Aide

Reports to: Cook

Participates in the preparation of the cafeteria counter for each meal and breaks as assigned.  Ensures that all containers are stocked with dishes, trays, silverware, cups, etc., and are readily available.   Serves employees and guests in the cafeteria line; observes proper portion control techniques.  Cleans tables and chairs in the cafeteria or staff dining room after each meal.  Maintain proper temperatures for  both hot and cold foods.  Maintains cafeteria counter in a clean, neat and orderly manner.  Assists with the sanitation of all cooking and serving utensils.

Job Specifics:

  • Prior food service experience
  • High School diploma or GED

 

 

Cook

Reports to Facilities Director

Develop and maintain menus that meet dietary guidelines for educational institutions within the state of Iowa.  Plan and schedule meals to ensure that food will be ready at specified times. Prepare weekly food and supply orders by guidelines established with Facilities Director.  Insure proper food handling techniques and preparation of service items to patients, employees and guests.   Supervise and respond to changes in workload schedule as necessary.

Job Specifics:

  • Minimum 2 years training or experience in large scale commercial or institutional food preparation.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with foods and preparation methods.
  • Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations, follow written and oral instructions.
  • Formal on the job training in food preparation in cooking, estimating quantities for food needed, requisitioning and storage of food supplies. 
  • General kitchen management.

 

 
LISW - Therapist IV

Reports to: Program Manager

Location: Community Health

Therapist or Social Worker with behavioral health experience, screening individuals in a community health setting for depression and alcoholism.  Conduct assessments, treatment planning and discharge.  Will work alongside physicians and may provide additional therapeutic services in the community health setting.   This is a multi-year, renewable, grant funded position.

Job Specifics:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology
  • 3-5 years experience,
  • LMHC or LISW and qualifications to supervise staffing seeking licensure.
Registered Nurse

Reports to: Nursing Supervisor

Locations: Child & Adolescent Hospital or Synergy Center - Cherokee

 

Establish working relationships with patients and families, Complete admissions to program per program guidelines, monitor and direct patient milieu as part of the program clinical team. Participate in patient staffing/treatment planning.  Ensure that patients medical needs are met, communicate with physician and implement orders, interpret diagnostic procedures and lab values.  Monitor and document  patient compliance  with medications and Doctors orders.  Oversee administration of patient medication.  Monitor and report infection control issues regularly.

 

Job Specifics:

  • RN License
  • Experience in the addiction/ mental health field (preferred)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

 

Daycare Worker
Reports to: Daycare Supervisor

Provides various experiences and activities for children in a childcare setting.  Ensure children are supervised at all times, provide a safe environment for children to feel comfortable.  Be familiar with emergency procedures and follow them as necessary.

 

 

Job Specifics:

  • High school diploma,
  • good verbal and written communication skills.

 

Recovery Counselor
Reports to: Milieu Coordinato
r
Locations -Child & Adolescent Recovery Hospital, Synergy Center (1)

 

Establish working relationships with patients and families, facilitate recovery groups as assigned, monitor and direct patient milieu at all times, monitor and direct activities in Learning Lab.  Document patients participation in treatment activities, monitor and document appropriate passing of medications.  Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager, transport patients as needed in company vehicles.

Job Specifics

  • High School diploma or equivalent, 6-12 months human services experience.
  • Experience in the addiction field (preferred).
  • Solid written and verbal communications skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).
Secretary

Reports to: Program Manager
Location : SC Main Adult Outpatient

 

Greet patients, family members, visitors by phone or in person and answer questions and/or direct to appropriate source. Perform opening and closing tasks for facility as appropriate. Transcribe dictation for clinical staff as assigned.Schedule and conduct drug screens and complete documentation as assigned.  Order and track inventory on office supplies and drug screens.  Serve as back-up for otherJacksonclerical support, as required.  Provide miscellaneous clerical support for supervisor and/or clinical staff. Schedule appointments for clinical staff.  Track forms inventory and order as required.

Job Specifics

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior office experience.
  • Transcription experience in the medical field (preferred).
  • Certification in Medical Transcription (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

 

Therapist I-IV -
Reports to: Clinical Supervisor

Locations: Harlan, Adult Outpatient

Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families, facilitate individual, group and family therapy as assigned.  Conduct ongoing assessment, treatment planning and discharge of patients.  Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.  Develop and maintain the confidential patient record, advocate for patients and families.

 

Job Specifics:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services plus 1 year experience in human services field.
  • CADC certification (must obtain within 1 year of employment)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred). 

 

Teacher 

Reports to: Principal                                                                       



Develop and maintain daily instructional plans.  Maintain student records of attendance, evaluation, report cards, discipline records and documents required by Iowa Department of Education.  Develop effective communication with students "home school" establish plans to meet students academic needs.  Provide positive learning environment, maintaining standards of student behavior.  Maintain updated inventory of texts, materials, supplies and equipment.

JOB SPECIFICS:

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in education and classroom teaching experience.
  • Grades 5-12 credential, special education endorsement or
  • Grades  5-12 special education degree
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred)



 

Therapist lll or Social Worker

Reports to: Clinical Supervisor

Location - Child & Adolescent Recovery Hospital (2)                                      

 

Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.  Facilitate individual, group and family therapy as assigned; supervise and direct patient milieu, conduct ongoing assessments, treatment planning and discharge of patients.  Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.  Develop and maintain confidential patient record.  Assist in program development and implementation.  advocate for patients and families, promote desitgmatization of the disease of addiction.

 

JOB SPECIFICS:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology  with 3-5 years of experience in the field
  • LISW or LMHC or LMHP preferred
  • Experience in crisis unit setting, acute care
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).



 

Secretary - Part Time

Reports to: Office Manager

Location: Cherokee

Greet patients, family member and visitors, provide information by phone or in person.  Provides front desk coverage from 4pm-8pm weekdays.

Job Specifics:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior office experience
