Currently Jackson Recovery Centers is hiring the following programs, Adult Outpatient, Women and Children Center, and Adolescent Center.

Leadership Expectations: 

  • Develop and maintain positive professional and supportive relationships with all Jackson staff.
  • Create clear performance expectations and deliver timely and constructive feedback to direct service staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner.  Conduct performance reviews with subordinates in a timely manner.
  • Deliver regular, authentic recognition to Jackson staff.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Participate actively as a member of the Clinical Team.
  • Supervise the organization and delivery of clinical services within the program area.
  • Continuously monitor and refine the clinical program offerings to better serve the needs of patients, families and the Siouxland community.
  • Implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor program utilization and staff resources.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality service, positive outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the Team concept throughout the program and the organization
  • Maintain professional, personal and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.
  • Provide direct patient service at least 20 hours per week.
  • Demonstrate passion to develop positive professional relationship with staff.
  • Transport patients as needed in company vehicles (residential supervisor).

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in clinical area & Independent license or in the process of obtaining license,  OR Bachelors Degree in Human Services and current enrollment in a Masters Clinical program with licensure eligibility.
  • Experience in the Substance Abuse field.
  •  CADC and/or Licensed in the State of Iowa.

  • Attend required First Aid/CPR training.

  • Participate in continued education consistent with personal development plan.
  • Maintain PSO privileges.
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and auto insurance (residential supervisor).

Objective Outcomes of Job: 

  • Productivity:    Maintain at least the minimal productivity standard for the program
    • Maintain an average group size of _______________ outpatient programs
    • Maintain an average group size of _______________  residential programs
  • Documentation:  Teach, train and monitor program staff to maintain 100% compliance
  • Financial Accountability: Maintain at least budgeted targets for program.

Status: Non-Exempt (Several positions)
Department:Adult Serivces , Synergy Center - Cherokee  
Location: Sioux City, Onawa and Cherokee

  • Participate actively as a member of Jackson's teams.

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Facilitate individual, group and family therapy as assigned.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment, treatment planning and discharge of patients.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.
  • Develop and maintain the confidential patient record.
  • Advocate for patients and families, and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor'ss Degree in Human Services plus 1 year experience in human services field.
  • CADC certification
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred). 

Conditions For Continued Employment:

  • Maintain CPI certification.
  • Attend required trainings.
  • Attendance at Adult/Child Abuse training.
  • Maintain PSO privileges and required CEU’s.
  • Remain open to clinical supervision and opportunities for growth.
  • Meet Jackson attendance guidelines.

Objective Outcomes of Job:   

  • Productivity: Maintain at least 50% personal productivity on a monthly basis.
  • Documentation: Maintain 100% compliance with departmental standards.
  • Clinical Service: Average group size of 8.
  • Patient Outcome: WMA % of at least 60%
  • Attendance: Meet HR Policy guidelines. 
  • Financial Accountability: 100% of patients participate in payment plan.
  • Customer Satisfaction: 60% of WMA participation.
  • Length of Stay: Maintain an average length of stay determined for each level of care.

Salary Grade: 1, Non-exempt
Reports to: Program Director
Shifts: Full Time, 2pm-12pm,PT 8am-2pm weekends, PT overnight
Locations: Sioux City - Adolescent Center   
Job Group: 2510-08

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish working relationships with patients and families.
  • Facilitate Recovery groups as assigned.
  • Monitor and direct activities in Learning Laboratory when in use.
  • Monitor and direct patient milieu at all times.
  • Monitor and document patient compliance with unit rules.
  • Document each patient’s participation in treatment activities.
  • Monitor and document appropriate passing of medications.
  • Transport patients as needed in company vehicles.
  • Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager.
  • Advocate for patients and families and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.
  • Be flexible to changes in scheduling with adequate notice.
  • Be available to take on-call on a rotation schedule. 

Educational/Experience Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Experience in the addiction field (preferred).
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

Conditions for Continued Employment:

  • Maintain CPI certification.
  • Maintain CPR/ First Aid Certification.
  • Maintain Mandatory Child Abuse/ Dependent Abuse Training.
  • Attend required Trainings.
  • Remain open to clinical supervision and opportunities for growth.
  • Meet Jackson attendance guidelines.
  • Maintain valid driver’s license, auto insurance and acceptable driving record. 

Objective Outcomes of Job

  • Document group sessions daily.
  • Document patient’s participation in services daily.
  • Document significant progress or out of the ordinary events daily.
  • Follow through with treatment team decisions on the patient milieu daily.
  • Follow through with unit rules 100% of the time.
