Currently Jackson Recovery Centers is hiring the following programs, Adult Outpatient, Women and Children Center, and Adolescent Center.

Marketing Director

Salary Grade: 9, exempt
Reports to: Vice President
Department: Officials and Managers 
Location: Sioux City

General Expectations:

  • Support and promote Jackson vision through participation in community or professional programs and events aligned with or useful to the promotion of Jackson’s vision, while promoting a positive image of Jackson at all times.
  • Understands and adheres to all JRC policies and procedures governed by Federal and State guidelines regarding confidentiality and abuse reporting; embraces Jackson’s code of conduct & ethics policies.
  • Supports and promotes the 12 Step model of treatment; growing in their understanding and ability to respond to questions regarding 12 Step treatment or by applying the steps in their lives.
  • Remain open to supervision and be willing to adopt constructive changes; comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • Participates as a collaborative and cooperative team member, in both department and voluntary work teams.

Leadership Expectations:

  • Develop and maintain professional and supportive relationships with all JRC staff.
  • Deliver on-time expectations and constructive feedback to direct staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner; deliver performance reviews on a timely basis.
  • Deliver authentic and regular recognition to JRC staff.
  • Manage financial resources of JRC on a timely and efficient basis including full participation in annual operational and capital budgets.
  • Develop and manage productivity, performance improvement and quality standards for areas of responsibility.
  • Network with colleagues in the Siouxland area on a cooperative and collaborative basis to advance the JRC vision.
  • Develop and implement an annual personal and professional goal-oriented plan which fits with the JRC vision.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain Consistent Communication with Siouxland Community.
  • Develop annual marketing plan for Jackson.
  • Work with vendors to provide high quality products that assist Jackson in meeting its vision.
  • Develop quarterly community newsletter.
  • Manage and implement the department budget, policies, procedures and goals.
  • Plan and execute special events and other fundraising and marketing efforts.
  • Developing timely press releases for fundraising, marketing or special events
  • Maintain and update all Jackson Marketing Materials

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND
  • 3 years experience (minimum) in marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Clinical Supervisor (2)

Salary Grade: 8

  • Create clear performance expectations and deliver timely and constructive feedback to direct service staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner.  Conduct performance reviews with subordinates in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Participate actively as a member of the Clinical Team.
  • Supervise the organization and delivery of clinical services within the program area.
  • Continuously monitor and refine the clinical program offerings to better serve the needs of patients, families and the Siouxland community.
  • Implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor program utilization and staff resources.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality service, positive outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the Team concept throughout the program and the organization
  • Maintain professional, personal and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.
  • Provide direct patient service at least 20 hours per week.
  • Demonstrate passion to develop positive professional relationship with staff.
  • Transport patients as needed in company vehicles (residential supervisor).

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Services + 2 years experience in the Human Service field.
  • Experience in the Substance Abuse field.
  •  CADC and/or Licensed in the State of Iowa.

  • Attend required First Aid/CPR training.
  • Remain open to supervision and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Facilitate individual, group and family therapy as assigned.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment, treatment planning and discharge of patients.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.
  • Develop and maintain the confidential patient record.
  • Advocate for patients and families, and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor'ss Degree in Human Services plus 1 year experience in human services field.
  • CADC certification
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish working relationships with patients and families.
  • Complete admissions to program per program guidelines.
  • Help in the developing and implementation of lectures and educational programs for patients.
  • Participate in patient staffing/treatment planning.
  • Monitor and direct patient milieu as part of the program clinical team.
  • Communicate with physician and implement orders.
  • Interpretation of diagnostic procedures and lab values.
  • Monitor and document patient compliance medication and Doctors orders.
  • Insure patient’s medical needs are addressed.
  • Oversee administration of patient medication.
  • Monitor and report infection control issues regularly.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager.
  • Advocate for patients and families and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • RN License
  • Experience in the addiction/ mental health field (preferred)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain 100% compliance with departmental standards as evidenced by chart audit results quarterly.
  • Patient medical interventions and treatments are documented as they occur.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Patients indicate their medical needs were met when completing the customer satisfaction survey.

Salary Grade: 1, Non-exempt
Reports to: Program Director
Shifts: Full Time, 2pm-12pm,PT 8am-2pm weekends, PT overnight
Location: Sioux City - Adolescent Center   
Job Group: 2510-08

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish working relationships with patients and families.
  • Facilitate Recovery groups as assigned.
  • Monitor and direct activities in Learning Laboratory when in use.
  • Monitor and direct patient milieu at all times.
  • Monitor and document patient compliance with unit rules.
  • Document each patient’s participation in treatment activities.
  • Monitor and document appropriate passing of medications.
  • Transport patients as needed in company vehicles.
  • Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager.
  • Advocate for patients and families and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.
  • Be flexible to changes in scheduling with adequate notice.
  • Be available to take on-call on a rotation schedule. 

Educational/Experience Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Experience in the addiction field (preferred).
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).
