Director of Facilities
Location: Sioux City
 

The Director of Facilities will ensure Jackson Recovery Centers’ facilities are safe, clean and welcoming to patients and staff by overseeing the provision of high-quality facilities services (including, but not limited to Maintenance, Food Service, Housekeeping, Accessibility and Safety) at all Jackson sites and organize and execute facility related risk management functions.  The Director of Facilities manages the work of contractors, contract personnel, vendors and maintenance staff. 

Job Specifics:

  • Associates Degree/ Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in facilities, safety and/or hospitality management

Accountant 
Location: Sioux City
 

The Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of bi-weekly payroll for over 230 employees, generate internal and external payroll reports, prepare information for external audits, be responsible of 403b deposits, reconciliations, testing and reporting.  The Accountant will oversee all travel and expense reimbursements, ensure all grants and contracts are expended in compliance with the funder, create and post entries into the general ledger, and assist with other assignments as directed by the Accounting Manger. 

Job Specifics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. 
  • One to two years of accounting or related experience, preferably in payroll.
  • Experience using accounting software.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal payroll laws impacting payroll.

Access & Utilization Review Administrator
Location:  Sioux City

 

Communicates and coordinates with payer sources and Jackson Recovery service providers to ensure the medical necessity of services and authorization of services.   Coordinates and completes care eligibility determination, precertification, concurrent review and discharge reviews.  Understands and oversees appeals and denials according to each payer source’s process.  Ideal candidate will have knowledge of integrated care terminology (substance abuse, mental health disorders, psychiatric, medical), ASAM criteria, DSM-5 terminology, and ICD-10 diagnosis codes. 

Job Specifics:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of two years experience with Utilization Review.
• Current License or credential in a healthcare, social services, or human services field preferred.

Medical Billing Specialist
Location: Sioux City
 
 

Responsible for all patient accounts, billing to proper funding sources, interpreting EOB's; identify and analyze potential billing problems and follow up on outstanding accounts.  Make adjustments to accounts as needed, researches credit balances, and prepares a refund when appropriate.  Responds to inquiries from patients and third parties as required.

Milieu Coordinator

Job Description:
Supervise the organization and delivery of services within the program area, implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor program utilization.  Supervise direct patient care staff, promote team concept, and provide direct patient care as needed.

Corporate Accountant

Fiscal Department

Process payroll data and prepare federal and state payroll reports in a timely and accurate manner.  Maintain current employee benefit and deduction information in the computer system.  Process accounts payable invoices and issue checks to our vendors.  Prepare bank deposits, and reconcile front desk cash drawer and petty cash.  Submit monthly reimbursement requests to granting agencies.

Synergy Center - Cherokee

Greet patients, family members, and visitors by phone or in person, answer questions, direct to appropriate source.  Provide financial counseling to patients including checking on insurance benefits, collecting and recording payments.  Function as integral part of department team performing duties to assist in the efficient flow of patient care, documentation, department schedule to best meet the needs of patients. School Secretary   

Reports to: Principal

Revenue Manager

Location: Sioux City

Lead billing department and team in managing revenue cycles for all programs.  Maintain accurate and timely billing, data entry, insurance contracts, charge corrections, payment entry and all other revenue adjustments necessary.  Ensures collections of receivables from Medicaid, private insurance and patient payments are timely and accurately applied.  Works across the organization to create efficient workflows in the revenue cycle.  Ensure credentialing for all payer sources is up-to-date, accurate and completed in a timely manner.  Present statistical reporting for management and dashboard reporting for all programs.  Assumes role as subject matter expert (SME), and provides applicable  training to the department and other groups in the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years with healthcare billing, practice management software and in a leadership role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of ICD9/10, CPT and other coding and documentation requirements.

Outreach Worker
Connecting Point

First point of contact for all patients; establish relationship while engaging in the treatment process. Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources. Serve as crisis intervention and triage specialist.

Vice President Clinical Services & Chief Clinical Officer

Reports to: President/CEO

Lead a team of live-saving professionals providing child, adolescent, and adult inpatient, residential & outpatient programming.  Provide strategic leadership and oversight consistent with the belief that addictions are primary progressive, chronic and potentially fatal diseases.  Clinical leader who supports and advocates the 12-step recovery model and the use of evidence based modalities including medication assisted therapy in a recovery supportive manner.

Requires a minimum of graduate degree in applicable clinical discipline and administrative experience leading a large team of professionals.  5-7 years clinical leadership experience in a substance use disorder program is a must.  Independent licensure, certifications and credentials are highly preferred.

Clinical Coordinator

Location: Child & Adolescent Recovery Hospital
Adolescent Inpatient

Supervise the organization and delivery of clinical services under the direction of the Program Manager.  Implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor program utilization and staff resources.  Ensure the delivery of quality service, positive outcomes and customer satisfaction.  Create clear performance expectations, deliver timely and constructive feedback to direct service staff.   Provide direct patient service within the program including individual and group sessions, case management and treatment planning

HR Generalist
Location: Sioux City

Responsible for maintaining employee records in ADP and hardcopy filings; Affirmative Action & EEO reporting; facilitate on-boarding processes and schedules; reconciling employee benefit enrollments and invoicing; functions as point of contact as assigned; assist with workman's comp, FMLA and STD processes, support recruiting efforts. Special projects as assigned.

Nursing Supervisor

Location: Child & Adolescent Recovery Hospital (CARH)

Supervise the organization, training and delivery of nursing service in the program area.  Implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor program utilization and staff resources. Ensure nursing processes are completed in accordance with standards for the department.  Teach, train and monitor program staff to ensure safe and structured patient milieu. Provide direct
patient service as needed.

  • RN license required, (BSN preferred)

Mid-Level Practitioner, ARNP

Reports to: Medical Director

Establish therapeutic relationship with patients and families.  Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, diagnostic workups, medication management, medication refills, education, documentation, and case consultation with team members to advance an integrated model of care.  Instruction and counseling of patients regarding physical and mental health on matters such as diets, disease, therapy and normal growth development.  Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.

  • Active Iowa ARNP License
  • Graduation from an ARNP program approved by IA Board of Medical Examiners

Maintenance Tech (Part Time)

Location: Sioux City

Perform general maintenance duties, changing light bulbs, fixtures, hanging items, minimal furniture assembly.  Trouble shoot minor electrical and plumbing problems, repair doors, door locks, install window coverings.  Respond to emergency requests, perform outside custodial duties such as snow removal and trash pick- up.

Participates in the preparation of the cafeteria counter for each meal and breaks as assigned.  Ensures that all containers are stocked with dishes, trays, silverware, cups, etc., and are readily available.   Serves employees and guests in the cafeteria line; observes proper portion control techniques.  Cleans tables and chairs in the cafeteria or staff dining room after each meal.  Maintain proper temperatures for  both hot and cold foods.  Maintains cafeteria counter in a clean, neat and orderly manner.  Assists with the sanitation of all cooking and serving utensils.

Cook

Reports to: Food Services Director

Develop and maintain menus that meet dietary guidelines for educational institutions within the state of Iowa.  Plan and schedule meals to ensure that food will be ready at specified times. Prepare weekly food and supply orders by guidelines established with Facilities Director.  Insure proper food handling techniques and preparation of service items to patients, employees and guests.   Supervise and respond to changes in workload schedule as necessary.

Job Specifics:

  • Minimum 2 years training or experience in large scale commercial or institutional food preparation.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with foods and preparation methods.

Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) - Therapist

Location: Siouxland Community Health Center - Sioux City

 

Therapist or Social Worker with behavioral health experience, screening individuals in a community health setting for depression and alcoholism.  Conduct assessments, treatment planning and discharge.  Will work alongside physicians and may provide additional therapeutic services in the community health setting.   This is a multi-year, renewable, grant funded position.

Job Specifics:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology
  • 3-5 years experience,
  • LMHC or LISW and qualifications to supervise staff seeking licensure.
Registered Nurse

Reports to: Nursing Supervisor
Location: Cherokee Synergy Center (PT Weekends)

                           
Establish working relationships with patients and families, Complete admissions to program per program guidelines, monitor and direct patient milieu as part of the program clinical team. Participate in patient staffing/treatment planning.  Ensure that patients medical needs are met, communicate with physician and implement orders, interpret diagnostic procedures and lab values.  Monitor and document  patient compliance  with medications and Doctors orders.  Oversee administration of patient medication.  Monitor and report infection control issues regularly.

Establish working relationships with patients and families, facilitate recovery groups and team building activities, provide direct supervision to all patients.  Encourage patients to follow the unit schedule and actively participate in treatment.  Document patients participation in treatment activities, monitor and document appropriate passing of medications.  Transport patients as needed in company vehicles.

  • High School diploma or equivalent, 6-12 months human services experience.
  • Experience in the addiction field (preferred).

Secretary

Reports to: Program Manager
Location : Sioux City

Greet patients, family members, visitors by phone or in person and answer questions and/or direct to appropriate source. Perform opening and closing tasks for facility as appropriate.
