Successful incumbent will have expertise in resource development and outreach initiatives, relationship management and strategic messaging as well as productive board relationships.  Provide vision and direction for leveraging Jackson’s outstanding programs and services as part of an overall marketing and development strategy.  Plan and coordinate large events as well as representing Jackson within the Siouxland community.

Job Specifics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or non- profit development (Masters preferred)
  • History of developing successful marketing campaigns (available portfolio)
  • Minimum of 3 years of increasing responsibility in raising funds in a non-profit setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven record in achieving fund development goals
  • Experience in writing successful grant proposals
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Successful experience in managing volunteers involved in philanthropic activities
  • Experience in strategic planning, budget development and management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Clinical Supervisor


Reports to: Program Manager

Successful incumbents will have experience supervising the organization and delivery of clinical services within the program area.  Ensure the delivery of quality services, positive outcomes and customer satisfaction. Implement systems of accountability  to monitor program utilization and staff resources.  Continuously monitor and refine the clinical program offerings to better serve patients.

Job Specifics:

  • Masters Degree in clinical area & Independent license or in the process of obtaining license, OR Bachelors Degree in Human Services and current enrollment in a Masters Clinical program with licensure eligibility.
  • Experience in the Substance Abuse field.
  • Supervisory experience
  • CADC and/or Licensed in the State of Iowa.

  • Actively participate as a member of Jackson’s teams.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish working relationships with patients and families.
  • Complete admissions to program per program guidelines.
  • Help in the developing and implementation of lectures and educational programs for patients.
  • Participate in patient staffing/treatment planning.
  • Monitor and direct patient milieu as part of the program clinical team.
  • Communicate with physician and implement orders.
  • Interpretation of diagnostic procedures and lab values.
  • Monitor and document patient compliance medication and Doctors orders.
  • Insure patient’s medical needs are addressed.
  • Oversee administration of patient medication.
  • Monitor and report infection control issues regularly.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager.
  • Advocate for patients and families and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • RN License
  • Experience in the addiction/ mental health field (preferred)
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

Conditions for Continued Employment:

  • Maintain RN License
  • Maintain CPI certification.
  • Maintain CPR/ First Aid Certification
  • Maintain Mandatory Child Abuse/ Dependent Abuse Training
  • Attend required Training/In-services.
  • Remain open to clinical supervision and opportunities for growth.
  • Meet Jackson attendance guidelines.
  • Valid drivers license and insurance required
  • Maintain PSO requirements

Objective Outcomes of the Job:

Productivity:

  • Maintain high quality medical and nursing services for 100% of patients
  • Maintain quality educational and nutritional standards for 100% of patients.
  • Provide nursing and nutritional groups daily.
  • Provide a stable and structured unit milieu to the patient’s daily.

Documentation:

  • Maintain 100% compliance with departmental standards as evidenced by chart audit results quarterly.
  • Patient medical interventions and treatments are documented as they occur.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Patients indicate their medical needs were met when completing the customer satisfaction survey.

  • Facilitate individual, group and family therapy as assigned.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment, treatment planning and discharge of patients.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and other community resources.
  • Develop and maintain the confidential patient record.
  • Advocate for patients and families, and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor'ss Degree in Human Services plus 1 year experience in human services field.
  • CADC certification
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred). 

Conditions For Continued Employment:

  • Maintain CPI certification.
  • Attend required trainings.
  • Attendance at Adult/Child Abuse training.
  • Maintain PSO privileges and required CEU’s.
  • Remain open to clinical supervision and opportunities for growth.
  • Meet Jackson attendance guidelines.

Objective Outcomes of Job:   

  • Productivity: Maintain at least 50% personal productivity on a monthly basis.
  • Documentation: Maintain 100% compliance with departmental standards.
  • Clinical Service: Average group size of 8.
  • Patient Outcome: WMA % of at least 60%
  • Attendance: Meet HR Policy guidelines. 
  • Financial Accountability: 100% of patients participate in payment plan.
  • Customer Satisfaction: 60% of WMA participation.
  • Length of Stay: Maintain an average length of stay determined for each level of care.

Shifts: Full Time, 2pm-12pm,PT 8am-2pm weekends, PT overnight

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish working relationships with patients and families.
  • Facilitate Recovery groups as assigned.
  • Monitor and direct activities in Learning Laboratory when in use.
  • Monitor and direct patient milieu at all times.
  • Monitor and document patient compliance with unit rules.
  • Document each patient’s participation in treatment activities.
  • Monitor and document appropriate passing of medications.
  • Transport patients as needed in company vehicles.
  • Report out of the ordinary situations to the supervisor or on-call manager.
  • Advocate for patients and families and promote destigmatization of the disease of addiction.
  • Maintain professional, personal, and emotional balance through continuous self-examination, supervision and feedback.
  • Be flexible to changes in scheduling with adequate notice.
  • Be available to take on-call on a rotation schedule. 

Educational/Experience Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency.
  • Experience in the addiction field (preferred).
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

Conditions for Continued Employment:

  • Maintain CPI certification.
  • Maintain CPR/ First Aid Certification.
  • Maintain Mandatory Child Abuse/ Dependent Abuse Training.
