A Message from Jeff.....

I went through evening outpatient treatment at St. Lukes and then went to the Douglas half-way house. With out the house I don't believe I would be alive today! I was injured and disabled in 2001. I am now a foster parent, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children. My wife & I married in 2005 and combined our 2 families into 1. We had 4 boys. Then in Nov. of 2005 we had a little girl. Now we have 5 kids plus one foster child. Never a dull moment!

Mission & Purpose

The Jackson Recovery Centers Alumni Association is for individuals from all walks of life who share a common thread of recovering from an addiction. Their main purpose is to support the recovery of Jackson alumni with fellowship, service, and encouragement. Our volunteers provide patients of Jackson Recovery a connection to the recovering community by bridging the gap between treatment and the outside world. The only requirements for membership to the Association are having participated in treatment at Jackson Recovery Centers (or any of its predecessors) and having a desire to serve.

The association serves Jackson alumni, the organization, and the recovering community at large by planning Association sponsored meetings, social events, and communications. Within a support system of those in recovery, Jackson alum will find a safe social group, healthy and fun activities, and role models for long-term sobriety. Most of all, the alum will find a beacon of courage and hope in the Alumni Association.
